Dr. Eyre and staff were very nice and knowledgeable, however I was so disappointed when I received a $500 bill from pathology for a little normal looking mole that I had removed for cosmetic purposes only (that’s on top of a $200 office visit and removal fee). I wish Dr. Eyre would have warned me about the cost, I specifically told him I was on a high deductible insurance and he quoted the removal fee pretty closely but didn’t mention the pathology cost. Dr. Eyre knew that the mole did not need to be removed, it was completely up to me and if I would have known the cost I would have happily kept it. I probably will go back because I liked the doctor, but unless it’s absolutely medically necessary, I will not have anything done and will try to ask more questions.
