The doctors and staff at Aspen Dermatology go the extra mile to help patients. They are kind and friendly, comforting and helpful. Dr. Michael Eyre even travels down South to our area for appointments a couple of times each month. When I came for the surgery for some skin cancer and was waiting, every staff member that walked by me greeted me cheerfully. Dr. Eyre and his assistant were professional and did a good job on the surgery. They were quick to offer more numbing when necessary. They were very attentive to our needs. My husband is 85 and stayed in the room. When we were waiting for lab results they even brought water and snacks and blankets when we felt cold. Even though I did not want a snack, my husband did. It actually made me laugh to see her bring in the snacks. She also did a great job in bandaging a difficult area. In my case, I did not have pain afterwards and could sleep well that night. The aftercare is up to me as the patient now in regard to the wound care. I can text or call for help on that which is nice because it is a tricky area to cover adequately. I suggest that everyone have regular check ups with a dermatologist so as to prevent problems from becoming worse.
